| Sunset over the Hudson from the 14th floor last night. See the headlights, too? Those are the cars coming outta the tunnel. |
As the days start to grow longer, I am recognizing just how much earlier the sun is rising and how much later it's setting through the jobs that I'm working. Since I woke up raring the go yesterday, I did an asana practice before heading to Ithaka and it was amazing! The sun was out. Already. At 630am when I got out to my yoga nook. So cool. Plus, the sun didn't start to set until I was just about to head out of the office for the day (right around 6pm). I'm definitely enjoying this. I love practicing as the sun rises, and, since I have to be in midtown by 645am tomorrow, I will definitely be walking to the subway right as the sun is coming up, assuming it's a sunny day, of course.
The view from the office, out onto the Hudson and the Lincoln Tunnel is one of my favorite things about working here. I've been able to see it in the snow, rain, and now, sun, and it really never gets boring. This city is so special. I <3 NY!
