Braving the Masses

Grand Central all decked out for St Paddy's Day. And you can see all the green clothing.
I went out at lunch today to try to find some sunshine and work my monologues for the auditions I have coming up tomorrow and Saturday. It's another nice Spring day. It's in the high 50's to low 60's right now, but it might begins to thunderstorm later on this afternoon. I do enjoy these NY springs.

In my quest for a sunny place to sit and eat, I found the parade. I mean, barely. I found 42nd and 5th where is WILL be crossing, but where, at that time, it was the only legal place get from the eastside to the westside. And boy howdy, were there people! Walking back I even passed a few Irish bars that seemed to have their fair share of patrons, not all of whom were completely sober. It wasn't even 1pm yet... New Yorkers (and tourists) St Patrick's Day pretty damn hard...
