Spring Tease

Magnolias are blooming!
After such gorgeous weather last week, on Sunday, the first day of Spring, it snowed. And, according to TimeHop, the same thing happened last year. Oh, New York, you so crazy!

But! The magnolias are starting to bloom and, according to "cherry watch" (yes, that's a real thing), some of the cherry blossoms at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden have started to bloom, too. Jess and I are waiting until the majority of the trees are in "peak bloom" before heading to BBG, though. We will be patient! I've seen lots of Seattleites posting pics of the Quad's cherry trees out in full force, so it looks like the west coast spring is springing into action (HAH!) a bit ahead of us, lucky dogs!

Anyways, it's starting to warm up in the city (with the exception of Sunday, thank god), and tomorrow it's supposed to get back up to 70 degrees! Even though it drops back down on Thursday, I'll take what I can get. I am ready though for nice weather. No more snow, no more needing to layer like crazy, hats and gloves optional... I'm ready for spring to hit and STAY, y'all.
