Sunny Days are Here Again

It now says the high is only supposed to hit 72, but it hit the same temp tomorrow, too! Not complaining!

It's glorious outside. And I actually got to enjoy it before heading to my temp gig today! No complaints about a 1230pm start time when I get to wander around in 70-degree weather beforehand. And yes, you are seeing that correctly, it IS supposed to get up to 77-degrees today!!!!!!! WHAT! So. Incredibly. Happypants right now.

I left my house without a coat on. Let me repeat: it is early March and I left my house at 9am WITHOUT A COAT ON. Yup. I may regret that decision when I'm walking home from the subway tonight after 9pm, but definitely did not when I was sitting outside enjoying a coffee post-yoga this morning. Honestly, if I wasn't temping today, I would be sitting in a park enjoying all this glorious sun. And I'm not crazy, I know it's gonna cool down (I can read the rest of that weather screenshot on my phone), but even getting this small glimpse of the inevitable spring/summer to come makes me breathe easy again.

Today my temp job is at Big Brothers, Big Sisters where I worked once before way back in December in my first temp gig in NY. So, I'm back, manning the phones, etc. for the receptionist while she cleans out one of their storage rooms. Since she's not starting that until this afternoon, I got to come in at 1230pm! Which meant that I was able to sleep in, hit up 10am yoga, enjoy breakfast and coffee outside and then wander downtown to start work. And I'm here until 830 tonight, so I'm getting a whole 8-hours in, too. I'll take it. (And they pay me more than that fashion place. That place tried to get me back there for the rest of the week, but I was like, "No, sorry. Already have plans making $2 more an hour today and rehearsing and auditioning the next two days. NOPE, not interested.)
