| I took this selfie after I got home from yoga, so this hair has been sweat in and everything and still looks bang-on! |
It's been about 9 weeks since I was home in Seattle for Christmas, so it's been about the same amount of time since I've gotten my hair cut and colored. Luckily, I was able to find a pretty good deal on Living Social and last Wednesday, after working that finance symposium, I went and got it done. She did a pretty good job, despite the fact that I had to pay an extra $30 because when I called and asked if the deal was good for an all-over color (instead of just roots), the woman misunderstood me and told me yes, when really it wasn't. BUT, then she wanted me to pay an extra $30 on top of that for a blow-dry. Um, no. I can do that myself at home for free. Because of my cut she ended up blow-drying it anyway, but I didn't have to pay anything extra--HAHA!
I really do love the color. It's a richer, bluer red that the color Linda did in December and I think it works better with my skin tone for sure. And when I washed and dried it, the style and shape seem very consistent as well. I can definitely tell that the mangled cut I had back in August has been fixed by both Linda and this woman and THANK GOD. That was horrendous and besides not looking like my headshot, it made me look like I don't care enough to do my hair. Now I feel pretty again. Also, glad to know that a good cut really can last for 2+ months. Especially since they're so expensive!
