Preparations are Underway

Karaoke in Seattle many years ago for a friend's bday party.

So, here's hoping I have a less sad birthday party than last years' attempted Karaoke extravaganza... I thank the 3 friends that came from the bottom of my heart, and I thank the gods that I have made some more friends since then. Because we are trying for Birthday Karaoke Extravaganza (part deaux) this year! And, so far, I already have FOUR friends who have RSVP'd! So there! Already it's going to be less sad than last year! YEEEES.

Friends! I'm just so proud that I made friends this last year! I mean, I'd been in NY for NINE MONTHS by this point last year, and I hadn't really made any friends (THANKS A LOT STOUT...), but this year? With two shows and so many new Carlow friends? I feel way more like a New Yorker!

I mean, last year was tons of fun (a room where I can sing AS MUCH as I want? YES PLEASE!), it'll be nice to have more people to hangout with this year.

I clearly speak the truth! 

Birthday, birthday, birthday, birthday, birthday! T minus 5 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Update 1211pm: I am up to 5 friends!!!!!!

Update 305pm: I AM NOW UP TO 9 FRIENDS!
