Days Like These

Yesterday at lunchtime it was nasty. Like POURING down rain nasty. Like, I didn't leave the office until it cleared up nasty. So, I was pleasantly surprised to do my workout this morning in my sunny yoga nook. It was still a little cool, but sunny! But I still didn't know if it was gonna be nice enough for me to sit outside. Because as I left my apartment this morning, boy howdy was it windy! But I tried it! And totally worth it!

I ended up in my sweater and scarf, but still got to sit near the Hudson and read for an hour, so totally worth it! It's beautiful out there just still a little windy. It would be a perfect March or April day, but in June? A little cold....

But, no complaints! And tonight, since I'm here until 8pm, I am gonna take a little dinner break too! w00t! I got to come in at 10am instead of 9am, too. So, that was lovely! Yeah, I have to stay late tonight because some repair guys are here doing some repairs and someone has to be in the building with them (which, I guess, I am qualified to do? As a temp? This job is so weird... I just feel like I have WAAAAAY too much authority for a. someone in my position, and b. a temp, but whatever). But guys, it's cool. I had no plans tonight anyways and think of all the OT I'm gonna be making (hell, YEAH, time-and-a-half!). Anyways...

This is all good since I have some trips coming up... Nothing in stone yet, but seriously considering doing Wizarding World of HP and Disney World in September, and then looking at heading to NOLA for the Hawks v. Saints game and HALLOWEEN(!!!!) in October... So excited! Can't wait! Good thing I'm working a lot and making that money! Because I'm really good at spending it...
