I'm Gonna Make It After All

Yes, I know this reference. And that there is a statue of this moment in Minneapolis. 

So... This is all hush-hush, under wraps, I can't yet really tell anyone, BUT I seriously cannot keep this from you, dear blog readers, any longer: I AM GOING TO MINNEAPOLIS WITH NAKED TEMPEST! They just offered me the part! Callbacks are going to be held and the others in the cast will be auditioning again, but I WAS JUST ASKED TO DO IT! And I am so excited! I got the email last Wednesday afternoon (I KNOW. SO LONG AGO. I REALLY DID TRY TO KEEP IT QUIET. SHUT UP. I'M GOOD AT KEEPING SECRETS.), and I pretty much freaked out! I will be rehearsing starting August 20th and the performances will be the weekend of the 25th-28th! And that is pretty much all I know. So... Getting paid! Travelling with a show! Reviving a part I love! I am beyond happy about this whole thing!

WHEW *Breathe*

So, that's happening in August, which is making me have to whittle away a bit at auditions. A few of them I have already had to turn down (the callback that was supposed to be last Friday evening for example), and others I am just not applying for now that I know what dates I will be bust with Tempest stuff. I really hate keeping this from the others girls, so I hope that callbacks are held soon and I get a cast list, so that I can start squeeing out loud (ie on social media) and start celebrating with these ladies!!!!!!

Also, it's Minneapolis in August, so keep your fingers crossed that the show is gonna be indoors. Otherwise those are going to be some hot, sticky, bug-filled performances...
