Twist My Arm

My new phone. A pretty new toy to play with!
So, yesterday during my lunch hour, I bit the bullet, and wandered to a T-Mobile store to buy a new phone. I spent most of Tuesday afternoon online comparing phones, and had a pretty good idea of what one I was going to walk out with. And sure enough, after comparing, and playing with a couple more options, I went with my first choice: the Samsung Galaxy S7. It is, quite literally, the newest phone on the market (I think the larger version, the S7 Edge, might have come out a month later, but you know what I mean). It was released in the last few months, and although I did mess around with the S7 Edge, but found the rounded screen pretentious, and liked that the S7 was a little smaller--pretty much the same size as my Xperia. It also helped that it's $2/month cheaper. So, I bought a new phone.

Ultimately, glad I stuck with an android, if for no other reason than since my previous phone's data is unrecoverable, I can still download my contacts from Google. I would have been starting from scratch with an iphone. Plus, my phone is waterproof (again! Yay!), and dustproof, and I already have a bunch of chargers for it. All in all, good choices.

And it's just so faaaaaaaaast! I mean, I knew my little Xperia was nearing it's last legs but, I didn't quite realize how slow, and out-of-date it was. And the screen is so pretty! So many colors! Anyway, a new toy to play with. And, as I adjust to its newness, google is my friend (I've already done "set an alarm", and "sync facebook contacts"--apparently, this feature has been discontinued on all platforms by facebook, how annoying!). Now I just need to buy a few fun accessories--yay having a phone that has accessories available!--and I'll be off to the races!
