| Evidence that we enjoyed our free dessert! |
So, I taught a private to Jess Sunday morning before we went to grab brunch at a spot about 15 min away from my place. Neither of us had ever been there, but we were excited to try something new. We decided to sit at the bar. After we ate our brunches and were leisurely working on our coffee and tea, one of the waitstaff came up behind us with a plate of carmel banana bread pudding with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and walnuts on top saying, "this is compliments of the chef. He likes to reward Hawks fans." The kitchen was open directly to the left of the bar, and I'd obviously worn my Hawks beanie yesterday, but I was probably only wearing it in the bar for, I'd say, one or two minutes MAX. Once we sat down, I took it off and stuffed it into my purse hanging on one of the hooks under the bar. SOMEHOW he'd seen us come in, made a note of where we sat, waited for us to finish our meal, and then sent over dessert. I love Seahawks fans and I love being a part of this glorious fandom!
