Hitting the Mark

He's either in triangle (trikonasana) pose or side angle a (utthita parsvakonasana). Hard to tell which without legs.
Just in case you're wanting an update on how my #yogaeverydamnday progress is going: yeah, it's pretty damn GOOD. As of tomorrow I will have practiced some form of yoga (either physical or meditative) for 200 days in a ROW! I am crazy proud of this and have no intention of stopping anytime soon. It's been hard adding teaching, auditions, work, and rehearsals to this #yogalife I've created, but I've been making it work. And when I don't have the energy for the asana practice on my mat, I meditate.

Obviously, the results have helped me in my craft (see previous post about stage combat) and as I gain strength and flexibility, I'm also enjoying how I've been learning to calm my mind as well. Now that I live in the city that never sleeps, learning how to slow down and de-stress my brain has been a huge help. Especially, now that I'm adding all these extra things on top of paying my bills.

Loving this.
