Little Tiny Pieces

Ugh.
One more because I can't deal with it right now. Alan Rickman on his phone call with JK Rowling that convinced him to accept the role of Snape:

"She gave me one tiny, little, left of field piece of information that helped me think that he was more complicated and that the story was not going to be as straight down the line as everybody thought."

I would LOVE to know what that conversation was. What tiny little hint she gave to him to help him decide to take such a fascinating character and turn in such a wonderful performance. When the movies started filming, only three books had been released (Sorcerer, Chamber, and Azkaban).

Flowers at Kings Cross Station. *sob sob sob*
